GENERAL PUBLIC HEALTH & WELLNESS TESTING (FOR INDIVIDUALS 18 YEARS OF AGE AND UP)

 

When: Thursday and Friday, March 09 & 10, 2017

Time: 6am – 8:00am

Where: Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County (Classrooms on lower level) – Rock Springs, WY

General Health Screen– includes chemistry profile and lipid profile

 Prostatic Specific Antigen (PSA) – This test is used to detect abnormalities of the prostate gland.

 Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH)– Used as an aid in the assessment of thyroid status

 Hemogram– This test provides a blood cell count

Hemoglobin A1C – Helps monitor blood glucose levels over a 2 to 3 month period .

 Vitamin D – are used to determine if bone weakness, bone malformation, or abnormal metabolism of calcium (reflected by abnormal calcium, phosphorus or PTH blood tests) is occurring as a result of a deficiency or excess of vitamin D.

Pulmonary Function Test included with the general health screen. (Optional)
